Numbers were down on last year but fifty brave runners seemed to enjoy the scenic but testing course and also the free tea and cakes at the finish. For the men two ‘veterans’ had a close race for first with Simon Hall of Evesham edging out Cliff Berry of Ledbury Harriers in a sprint finish.
Malvern Joggers always send a strong contingent and Megan Judge was the first lady home as well as being part of the winning ladies team. Wye Valley Runners won the men’s team led by a great performance from Ross athlete Gavin Jones who was third overall.
