St John the Baptist, Upton Bishop, Tower Restoration Appeal: The tower, built in the 12th century for the defence of the church and its community, has seen in recent times, more onslaught from the wind and the weather than from enemies. For this reason, our small parish now has to raise in excess of £100,000 to restore the crumbling stonework. We cannot do it alone and so we invite you to become a part of this project to preserve an important portion of our heritage.
