It’s highly unlikely we will be able to have a fruit and vegetable show this year but that shouldn’t stop us from showing off the fruits of our labours.
We’ve all been spending more time in our gardens and many have taken up vegetable growing for the first time.
We want to see how you have all got on.
Send us your pictures (maximum six at a time please) of your vegetable plots, tasty tomatoes, opulent onions, glorious greens and perfect potatoes. Please also include the first line of your address.
We particularly want to see:
- The wonkiest vegetables
- The longest bean (please photograph it next to a tape measure)
And for our younger villagers:
- A photo of a garden on a plate
Your photos will be collated and posted on the website and social media for everyone to enjoy. You can carry on submitting up to six photos throughout the summer as your vegetables grow.
Photos should be emailed to email@example.com or posted on the Upton Bishop Facebook page
There is no charge to enter your photos to the virtual vegetable show but if you would like to make a donation to church funds we will be grateful. You can donate by
- sending or delivering a cheque made out to Upton Bishop PCC, to Peter Fanshawe at Melrose, The Crews, UB, HR97UF or
- electronically by BACS: Sort code 30-90-89, account no 37440160
The pictures we have received so far are here.
