Repairs to UB 11 April 2021

The wooden & earth steps between two stiles on the much used footpath UB11 running from Bromsash/ Felhampton towards Hartleton water and Drummonds Dub had rotted and collapsed so at the weekend the Footpaths Officer replaced the steps with the support of the landowner.

Our thanks go to Andy Parr, the footpaths officer and the landowner.

Welsh Water Work – July 6th – October 31st 2020

Welsh Water is working on improving waste water at The Crews. They will be laying a new waste water pipe from Manor House Lane down to the B4221. For the safety of the public, the footpath between Manor House Road and the B4211 will be closed throughout the duration of our work. The closure will be clearly signposted, and Welsh Water have asked us to avoid attempting to use the footpath during this time.

There should be no interruption to water supply or wastewater services during this time.

The bridleway UB27 and footpath UB13 that both run between Manor House Road, Upton Crews and the B4221 will be closed on Wednesday 12th until Thursday 27th August 2020, inclusive to facilitate works being carried by Welsh Water.

You can find out more in this letter from Welsh Water.

Many thanks to the land owner for installing a new stile on footpath UB16, TanHouse towards Upton Court.

A new post & finger sign has been installed replacing the rotted wooden post at the start of footpath UB11 towards Linton & UB13 towards Upton Crews.
